I am a sucker for Tik Tok finds, especially if they go viral and have amazing results. Because of that, I buy a lot of the “viral” beauty products that we see on Tik Tok. So here, let’s talk through some of the products, the good, the bad, and the in-between, and I’ll let you know if it’s truly a must-have.

Saie Sun Melt Natural Cream Bronzer: Everyone said that this product is the best cream bronzer; it blends seamlessly and effortlessly. I went out and bought it (even though I already have a ton of cream bronzers). This product gives such warmth to your skin; it blends so beautifully and does not take a lot of work to blend it into the skin. Is this the best cream bronzer? It is for sure up there, but it can be very similar to my Patrick Ta, Makeup by Mario, so you don’t need to run out and get this product if you have other cream bronzers. Buy it here, for $32 USD

Urban Decay 24/7 Moondust Eyeshadow in Space Cowboy: People spoke so highly about this product, and yes, I absolutely love it. This is an amazing product; it is glittery but not chunky. You do not feel the chunks; it is actually pretty smooth. You can wear it by itself, or you can wear it with other eyeshadows. It gives such a beautiful wet look to your eye. One simple swipe, and you have pigment. I was worried about the size, and truthfully, I have used this a lot and don’t feel like I am anywhere near hitting the pan. So yes, 100%, you need this shadow. Buy it here, for $24 USD

b.tan Glow Your Own Way Tan Gel: I am an avid self-tanner; I actually used to be an airbrush artist in my early to mid-20s as well, so I am very familiar with self-tanning. I had really high hopes for this, that it would be easy to apply, and that it would be perfect as we could just leave it on and there would be no transfer. Boy, I was wrong. This product gave me nothing but issues. I first applied this product like a lotion; it was fairly easy to apply, and I sort of saw it as my skin just felt very moisturized. I didn’t feel sticky afterwards either, which is a plus. I also put on a lot of the product itself—about 1/4 of the bottle, which to me is a lot. I applied this around noon and slept it in until 8 a.m. the next day. When I woke up, I did not see any color at all. After showering, I noticed a bit of a glow, but in some odd places, my arms seemed to have a tan but my chest did not. My toes were super dark and clinging to some spots. I noticed some parts of my “glow” seemed orange. You saw the color difference in certain areas. The results were just not even! I have used other non-color guard self-tanners, and truthfully, this one is one of the hardest to work with. The overall colors are not there, it is not beginner-friendly (for me, not even advanced-friendly), and there is a serious self-tanner smell with this. I would not recommend this product. L’Oreal Paris Telescopic Lift Washable Makeup Mascara This mascara caused a lot of drama on Tik Tok. Did it do what that video in question said (essentially look like false lashes)? No. But it does give a lot of length and column to my lashes. I do love the way my lashes look when using this. It does have two different types of brushes, which I love. Step 1: Use front hook bristles to lift lashes. Step 2: Use a side hook to separate lashes. It does not make my lashes look clumpy at all. When I do the first step, it adds a lot of volume and fullness to my lashes. When I typically do the second step, it makes my lashes look longer. Buy it here, for 14.99 USD.
