Question: How do you get/keep your teeth so white?

Answer: I actually get this a lot! So I thought it would be easiest to do a blog post on this. Let me start off by saying, I’m pretty lucky, and my teeth have always been on the “white” side. But, I am an avid coffee and wine drinker so, I did notice, about a year ago the white-ness did seem to die down.

As always please be sure to consult your dentist before you switch your dental routine. Regiments work differently for everybody.

So I came up with my regiment. I use my Colgate Sensitive toothpaste that also has the whitening in it. I use the sensitive one because my teeth have always been sensitive to cold drinks, but if you are not, then the regular Colgate Whitening Toothpaste will do the same. I brush my teeth morning and night with the Colgate Sensitive Toothpaste.

Then once a week, I use my Arm & Hammer toothpaste at night. I only do it about once a week because it dries out my gums a bit. You can do it more, but I wouldn’t recommend daily! Truthfully I love using this toothpaste, you really feel the difference in your teeth after one use. It’s hard to describe but, they do feel cleaner than other toothpastes I have used.

Then once a month, or when I can remember I use either Crest Whitening Strips the half hours ones, or the Harmon -off brand whitening strips. I say whenever I remember, because at first I used it about twice a week until I got the color I wanted. After that I moved on to about once a month as maintenance. Now, I just whiten before an event, or whenever I remember.

As always if you feel your teeth getting sensitive please reduce the whitening strips. Whitening strips can often cause your teeth to become sensitive.  Also, contact your doctor. 

I have been doing this routine for awhile and it has worked the best for me.
