Question: Should I moisturize if my skin is oily?
Answer: Yes!!
I can tell you I actually learned about this a year ago! This makes me think of how far I’ve come. LOL Literally I used to think, no, if I moisturize my skin day and night my skin will be even more oily! But that is wrong! You actually want to moisturize!
Moisturizing is key to people who have oily skin! If you don’t moisturize, your skin will actually get more oily because it is trying to overcompensate because it’s dry!
The only thing you should look into when looking for a moisturizer for oily skin is to make sure you pick moisturized that are labeled oil-free and noncomedogenic.
Other than that, keep on moisturizing!
A few moisturizers I have used:
DERMALOGICA Active Moist Moisturizer
MURAD Oil and Pore Control Mattifier Broad Spectrum SPF 45 PA++++
KORRES Wild Rose Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Facial (at night)
EDIBLE BEAUTY & Sleeping Beauty Purifying Mousse – Pink Clay Sleep Mask (at night, 2-3x a week)
I currently use the Dermalogica during the morning, the Korres at night, and the Edible Beauty on days I exfoliate in replace of the Korres.
