If you guys follow me on Instagram (@xomelissa205 if you don’t) I shared a purse I was gifted by Boho Hale. Now, I wanted to write about the purse a bit more and explain how I was working with Boho Hale! *Be sure to read through and check out my Good News section for a fun surprise!

Let me first start off by talking about the process. Boho Hale let me choose a purse that I fell in love with and let me customize it to my liking too! All of the purses are so cute and so fun that I had a hard time choosing one! But I ended up going with the Penelope Cork Tote. I got mine in the black because black just matches everything. I love black purses so much. I also was really drawn to this because of the cork too! I knew I would get the more wear of this bag. This bag retails for $110 USD and can be found here.

The next step is choosing your personalization style, you can do single initial, traditional monogram, male initial, and a name or text. I went with the single initial, letter “M” because as you guys know, I don’t want to associate with Rivera as much.
They even explain what each style entails which I like.

After that you choose your font. *Make sure to read the top- it states that a font can be used for a specific personalization style. * I went with “Party Time” because although it was simple, it added a fun flair with the “M” with its swirly accents!

After that you can choose your stitch color. I went with the basic black. They do let you know that they, “recommend Pink thread for pink tote, Mint thread for mint tote, Navy thread for Navy tote and Black thread for black tote. “

My experience:
First and foremost I want to say how amazing it was to work with Boho Hale, literally they are so quick to respond to emails and DM’s via Instagram. They are also so so sweet. Seriously, this is by far one of the best and easiest companies I have worked with. They are so understanding and so genuine! Just their personalities made me want to continue our relationship!

But any-who, onto the bag part. Ordering the bag was super easy, their website is easy to use and the shipping was so fast. I literally got the bag in less than a week. They do offer free shipping as well which is a huge plus!

My thoughts on the purse:
First, I love the material! I never had a cork bag and seriously I love it! (You all know I love my wine, so I love this cork material). Then second the bag has little gold metallic accents!! I didn’t know this by the picture, but seriously it makes the bag look 100x better! It looks so awesome!! It really adds a nice pop to it! The stitching is done perfectly too! It is so neat and looks super elegant. The straps are very sturdy which is great for me because I hold so much stuff in my bags! The black leather part on the bottom is super soft as well! Overall the outside feels really nice and sturdy and it looks so fashionable! This will really match with anything!

Now onto the inside of the bag. It has a zipper closure which I love because I always feel more secure if my purse can zip up. The bag/inside of the bag is pretty big! But, not too big where its obnoxious and you keep hitting into everything. It really is just the perfect bag size.

So when you open it up you get a zipper picket which is where I store my keys, gum and my work ID, then you get 2 open pockets (which are on the bigger size too) and I store all my lippies there! I have even more room to store lippies! It’s great!

This bag seriously holds all my stuff, but it keeps it so organized. Seriously I am that girl that has everything in my purse, umbrella, I got it, 2 sunglasses, makeup, tissues, Advil. Anything you need, I got you. So if you’re worries this bag won’t fit all your stuff? Don’t be, it’ll fit your stuff and keep you stylish.

So, now onto the fun part. The stylish fashionable part. One, if you don’t know yet monogram and personalization is in this year! So go head and get everything you need monogrammed or personalized. Start off with one of these cute bags here first though. Next, you can personalize it even more by adding a cute scarf to the handles. You can change the scarf to match your outfit too. That adds a nice pop to the bag as well! Also, again I just have to mention those gold flakes! Seriously, they caught my eye.
