If you guys have watched my recent videos you’ll know I have been obsessing over magnetic lashes. I have tried two different styles from the brand Ardell.

So let me talk about the lash accents first. I love them so much. This one is my absolute favorite. They are super easy to apply, and with the right mascara, they are not noticeable at all. It kinda gives me more of a cat eye look because it adds extra volume and lashes to the outer parts of your eyes. You cannot see the magnetic strips and they look so real! I use these in a lot of my makeup looks because they add a nice touch, and they are so easy to put on!

Onto the demi wispies, I don’t really like them. I do like the idea of them, but it’s hard to apply because you can 1) see the magnetic bands 2) because every eye is different it doesn’t sit on the eye correctly. There is some gap between the lash line and the false lashes. They are also super difficult to apply because they don’t go with our natural lash line.

I did try using a lash applicator and I thought that would be easier but it was not! When I tried to put the lashes on the applicator the lashes kept on closing together before I even got it on my eye. So I would pass of these and get a pair of regular lash applicators to help.

Tip, put on mascara before you put on your magnetic lashes. It makes for an easier application. It is also easier if you look down and apply the lashes.
