This season I have been ALL about the browns. I usually opt for the mauve or nude colored lips but this year, give me all the browns I can get. So thanks Boxy Charm for helping me get more brown lippies.

The formula in these lippies are SOOO light and creamy. It glides across the lips super smooth and it feels like I’m not wearing any lipstick at all! It lasted a pretty long time, but it did have fading after eating (at the waterline). But the fading didn’t look bad, it faded pretty nicely. It also didn’t leave my lips dried or cracked during the wear.

I don’t mind reapplying the lipstick around lunch or even after work if I have somewhere to be, because it really feels nice on my skin.

One con though is it wasn’t as pigmented as i thought it would be. It was good, don’t get me wrong, but I did have to go over my top and bottom lip 2x for the color to be as pigmented as I wanted. I thought it would be a one swipe and go kinda lipstick. But for that being the only con, it’s wasn’t bad at all! It could also be the color, because it is a lighter brown.

To be honest, I bought another one of her lipsticks LOL. It didn’t take me long. Sephora had the 20% sale and I wanted to try! So I got the shade Lolita, and I REALLY love it. I do have to go over my top and bottom lip 2x but the formula is just sooo soft and creamy.

I give KVD lipsticks 2 thumbs up! I really like her formula and the way the lipstick fades throughout the day. What’s your favorite KVD shade? I’m starting to shade away from my usual muaves.
