I have loved IT Cosmetics since it came out many years ago. It helped me with my acne scars, it helped my skin improve overall. I stood by IT even though it would leave me super oily (the love was real), until one day it was just way too oily. So I gave up and wished that they would come out with a Matte oil free cc cream. And all that praying worked because here it is!!!
First, the shade range isn’t the best in this. I do hope they have more shades. Check it out here. It costs $38 USD and would last me over 3 months if I used it every day.
I ordered it ion presale at QVC. I ordered the cc cream, powder and a brush for only $55 USD. They still have the sale for selected colors, check it out here.
IT describes the cream as a, ” color-correcting full coverage, anti-aging skincare and SPF 40 broad-spectrum physical sunscreen—all with a poreless, natural-looking matte finish that lasts! This multitasking, complexion-perfecting breakthrough instantly camouflages skin imperfections including dark spots without creasing or cracking and is clinically tested to reduce shine and control oil for up to 12 hours. It’s also infused with charcoal to detoxify, colloidal clay to absorb oil and tea tree extract to combat blemishes—plus, an advanced anti-aging serum made of hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, niacin, hyaluronic acid, vitamins and antioxidants. You’ll see powerful results instantly and more dramatic results over time!”
I then finished it with my my Urban Decay De-Slick Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray. Find it here. I can’t use any face products without setting with this spray.

I wore this CC cream from 7 a.m. until almost 9 p.m. I blotted once around 3 p.m. and was ready to take it off at 9 p.m. I did get oily, but not as bad as other foundations/BB/CC creams I have tried. I didn’t crease at all either. It seemed my makeup stayed in place minus the shininess.

It provides a great amount of coverage, and really smooths out my pores. It also hid any imperfections like acne or scares. It is very blendable and buildable. It felt like I was not wearing any makeup at all. It is super lightweight. At the beginning of the day, I was not a flat matte which I loved.
If you have oily or combination skin I say give this a try! It really is worth it. It feels amazing on my skin, and really helped improve it overall in such a short amount of time. A little goes a long way with this CC Cream, and it lasts a long time too. I know my love for the regular CC cream is real, and I’m beginning to love this one just as much.
I need to try this with a different primer to see if I get better oil-free results. I emailed IT Cosmetics and they recommended an oil free primer- so I am going to do some research and see what base primer I should get. Do you guys have any suggestions?
xo,
Melissa
