This is my first time trying a rubber mask. These masks have been all of the range on social media so I just had to get my hands on them. Sephora was selling a kit of 4 of them for just $36 USD. Check it out here.

It includes:
– 1.94 oz/ 55 g Single-use Shake & Shot Rubber Hydro Mask
– 1.94 oz/ 55 g Single-use Shake & Shot Rubber Soothing Mask
– 1.94 oz/ 55 g Single-use Shake & Shot Rubber Brightening Mask
– 1.94 oz/ 55 g Single-use Shake & Shot Rubber Firming Mask

For my first rubber mask I used the Soothing Mask. Sephora claims it, “Calms and repairs the complexion. The Soothing Mask ampoule contains Vitamin K3 (menadione) and a soothing botanical complex to calm irritated skin. Just shake it up and give sensitive skin a soothing shot.”
The packaging of this mask is so cute! It’s in a little colorful cup and the cup has a face lid with the spatula sticking out of the mouth. It really is so cute.

Here are the steps:
Tip– I recommend putting on an old shirt and using a headband to get hair away from your face

1: Open the “cup”
2: Pour step 1 contents into the “cup”
3: Immediately pour step 2 contents into the “cup”
4: Cover the hole shake the cup
5: You have 2 minutes to apply the mixture onto your face- use the spatula
6: Leave it on for 20 minutes
7: Peel off and continue with serums/creams

This mask went on a little messy so definitely be careful when you apply it. It’s also a little hard to get an even layer. It kind of has a cool dripping texture when it’s drying. While it’s drying it sort of feels stick, like a clay texture. It was so cool. During the wait time, I could feel my face being cooled off, definitely a soothing sensation!

This mask was also fun to take off it was super easy and didn’t leave any residue.
One I took off the mask, WOW I noticed a huge difference! My skin felt sooo smooth!!! I also looked brighter! Like I was glowing. My pores also looked blurred. I followed up with my normal serum and moisturizer.
Seriously this mask worked wonders within one treatment! I texted pictures to my best friends and they said the same thing. My mom wants to buy a mask too!

Have you tried this? What do you think?
xo,
Melissa
