Too Faced Peaches and Cream Comfort Matte Collection

IMG_9866Calling all girls and boys who have super oily skin. I have got AMAZING news. I found the holy grail of foundation for us oily peeps.  The Too Faced Peaches and Cream Comfort Matte Collection is seriously amazing. Like the best thing to ever happen.

I go through foundations like it’s my job. I’ve used IT, tarte, Becca, Laura Mercier and Hourglass (all which I’ll review at another time) but this one is defiantly my number 1 out of 3 in the foundation/powder/primer section.

So first, I use the TOO FACED Primed & Peachy Cooling Matte Perfecting Primer which retails for $32 USD for a regular size and $15 USD for a mini. You can find it here. It is “a cooling, mattifying primer that blurs, smooths, and brightens the complexion”. It says it “offers up to 12 hours of shine control, lasts up to 16 hours  and smells like peaches and cream”. I use about 1 pump of this primer. It does have a light peach and cream smell, nothing too strong.

Next, I’ll use the TOO FACED Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation – in the shade Warm Beige. It retails for $36 USD, you can find it here. This foundation is a “comfort matte foundation infused with peach and sweet fig cream” It is supposed to deliver up to 14 hours of photo-friendly wear. I use a beauty blender for this step.

Then, I’ll use the TOO FACED Peach Perfect Mattifying Setting Powder. You can find it here and it retails for $32 USD. It is a “lightweight and comfortable, mattifying loose powder in a universal peach tint.”  Apparently this powder is great for under eye baking, I have not tried that yet.

IMG_9871You’re supposed to set it with the TOO FACED Peach Mist Mattifying Setting Spray. I have not tried this- I was reading about it and many people had white dots on their face after they sprayed it. So I stuck to my Ubran Decay De-Slick Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray. Find it here.  I swear by this, no matter what foundation/primer/powder I  used, this setting spray made SUCH a huge difference.

Sephora says “The Too Faced Peaches and Cream Comfort Matte Collection is infused with refreshing peaches and sweet fig milk—ingredients known for their hydrating and antioxidant-rich benefits—to help keep skin moisturized, comfortable, and beautifully matte.” I defiantly agree, I feel and look matte but I don’t dry out!

This really does help control my shine! I used to have to blot every 2-3 hours, but now I’ll apply my makeup at 7 a.m. for work, blot at 5 p.m. if I have an event/dinner to attend (otherwise I go without it) and I’ll take it off at 10 p.m. Literally at 10 p.m. my makeup is still on my face. This collection has saved me from blotting every two hours. The shade is a perfect match for me. It definitely feels light weight and had a light/medium finish so its perfect for building if you need.

Have you tried this foundation? What’s your favorite foundation? Let me know in the comments!

xo,

Melissa

    1. I really want to try that one! I used the liquid. But my next purchases will be the stick foundation and a B.B. cream! Do you have any suggestions for a good B.B. cream??

      1. I suffer from rosacea, so I tend to lean towards CC creams more (they’re BB creams with color correction) and my ultimate fave is Bourjois 123 CC cream. I can’t recommend it enough. Drugstore price and great quality. I’ve gone through at least three tubes already.
