Sunshine Bound!

Is anyone else feeling like where has summer gone? I cannot believe we are at the end of July! Time is flying, and I wish it would just slow down a little bit. Lately, work, and life have been so busy I haven’t had a chance to be still. This past weekend, I caught up on some R&R and relaxed at the beach and pool.

I was off on Friday and because we finally had some great weather, I was relaxing by the pool with a good book. Then we went to the beach on Saturday. I am trying to soak up being outdoors as much as I can before the cold weather comes in.

Product of the week:

I have been loving these sneakers from Oncloud. I usually walk 2 miles per day and so far these are super comfortable to walk in. I am hoping this weekend can break them in and run. I typically suffer from shin splints, so I am hoping these are good for that. My ankles also turn in but these have built-in support on the inner portion of the shoe that is supposed to help with that.

What I am reading, Watching, and listening to:

I have been obsessed with anything written by Freida McFadden. Usually, I love romance novels, but for the past month, I have been loving physiological thrillers. Freida has got me hooked. I’ve been reading like one book a week, or like one book every 24 hours. I want to go through all of her novels.

I use my Kindle to read typically (only because I do not have the space to store my books). Along with my Kindle, I use Kindle Unlimited which is about $11.99 a month and you can read as many books as you want. The great thing about it is I don’t have to wait to get the book, I return the book I finished and then “order” the newest version if it is available on Kindle Unlimited without an additional cost. Another great thing is even though I have Kindle Unlimited, I can also pay for books that are not on it. I can do a whole blog post on Kindle Unlimited, but truthfully it is amazing.

I love the TV show Hijack which airs on Apple TV. “When Flight KA29 is hijacked during its seven-hour journey from Dubai to London, corporate negotiator Sam Nelson tries to use his professional skills to save everyone on board.” Honestly, this keeps you on the edge of your seat and has you feeling every single emotion throughout the one-hour show. It releases on Wednesdays and you better believe I watch it every Wednesday. This week’s episode left on a major cliffhanger and I am so excited to watch next week’s episode.

This may seem biased, but I love my Thirty Flirty & Thriving Playlist. It shows off major throwbacks and some great songs over the past few months. Listen here.

Most sold item:

These shorts from Amazon are my most sold item in the past week! They are so comfortable. This is now my second summer with them and they hold up very well. They are true to size and come in a lot of different colors. Great for dressing both up and down. They are also not too short.
