Must Haves Summer Favorites Skincare Edition

Does anyone else have summer fever? The weather is starting to warm up in Jersey, and I just want to be out and about. I am looking forward to pool and beach days. During the warmer months, I want my skin to look glowy and hydrated. So I have a few skincare must-haves that you need in your collection for summer!

Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 PA+++ – Honestly, we should be using sunscreen every single day, even in the winter months. So although I use this all year, I am just simply reminding you to please, please, please use your sunscreen. This sunscreen just blends into your skin, does not leave a white cast, and does not make me feel or look oily. It also does not break out my super-sensitive skin. Buy it here

Tatcha The Water Cream Oil-Free Pore Minimizing Moisturizer -Tatcha is one of my favorite skincare brands, and I notice such a difference when I use Tatcha products. This product is great for hydrating the skin. It is great for oily, combination, or normal skin. It truly sinks deep into your skin; you feel it. It also works for pores and dullness. My skin just feels so healthy and hydrated from the inside when I use this moisturizer. My skin also feels a bit plumper due to the hydration. Buy it here

Farmacy Wake Up Honey Eye Cream with Brightening Vitamin C – I suffer from dark, dry under-eye circles. This eye cream hydrated my under-eyes like no other. It looks great under concealer, meaning it does not make my concealer look dry or cracked. It really does its job! It also had vitamin C, which helps brighten up your under-eyes. Buy it here

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair® Cream Intense Hydration -I have super sensitive skin, and I am also really picky. I do not want a body lotion that is going to leave me feeling greasy, and this is it, ya’ll. It really hydrates my skin, like all day. It has helped with my eczema, and it also helps with really dry patches. I use this all year around, but I wanted to pass along this favorite of mine. Buy it here

Loving Tan 2 HR Express Self Tanning Mousse Dark- Nothing boosts my mood more than having a little tan. Being tan all year round, in a healthy way? Yup, sign me up. I can do a full post on how to apply it, but I have been using this tanning mousse by Loving Tan for years! I love it because it has a color guard, meaning you can see where you apply. It does not get on my clothes or bed if I decide to sleep in it. Plus, it takes only 2 hours to develop, but the color will get darker over 2 hours. It gives you such a warm tan without being orange. It is easy to use, and I recommend this one to everyone. Buy it here

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta® Universal Daily Peel Pads- So I have sensitive, oily skin filled with pores, acne, and blackheads. This is a two-step AHA/BHA peel pad that is pre-dosed with five acids and 12 antioxidants to visibly smooth texture, shrink the look of pores, and reduce the look of fine lines. When I say that since using this (I do two days on, two days off), my skin has looked so healthy and glowy, and my texture has definitely gone down in my cheek area. It is a lifesaver; I recently bought the biggest pack of these. Although expensive, I feel like I noticed a difference after a week of using it, so I highly recommend it. Buy it here

Topicals Faded Serum for Dark Spots & Discoloration- As mentioned above, I have regular hormonal acne on my face. A few years ago, my acne was at its worst, and I was filled with acne scars. Now, typically around my time of the month or if I am under a lot of stress, I get acne. I use pimple patches to try and get rid of the pimple, but sometimes I do pick, and they do leave a scar. This cream helped my skin so much. I was hooked when I first bought it last year, as I saw it on Tick Tok, and it made my scars basically nonexistent. Now I use it when I get a little acne discoloration or scar, and it helps reduce the scars. I am such a huge fan of this. The only downside is the smell. It smells horrible, but once you rub it in your face, the scent goes away. Buy it here

Monistat Care Chafing Relief Powder Gel, Anti Protection, 1.5 Oz- It’s summer time; the shorts and dresses are coming out, and let me be honest, my thighs touch. Nothing is worse than when you’re walking and your thighs rub together, and you get that pain after walking for awhile. This gel works wonders. I put this on in the morning before going to the beach. I’ll run two miles, then hit the beach in my bikini and walk around the town after, with no chafing. It works wonders, and I have been using it for 2 years now. It is also super affordable. Only put it on where your thighs are tough, and you are good to go. Buy it here
