My love for blonde hair has never gone away. I have been highlighting my hair blonde since I was 21 years old, probably earlier if I were to include little highlights, ombre, or the underside of my hair being blonde.
One thing that I think all blondes struggle with? Dry, damaged hair. I was thinking of doing a complete haircare routine blog because, truthfully, I think I have that routine down. But I figured, why not start by telling you guys about one product that, over the past year, I fell in love with. No, this is not sponsored. I just really see such a difference with this product, and with the Sephora sale coming up, I figured, why not let me tell you why this rocks.

Before I tell you all the great things about the product, let me explain some things I struggled with. My hair always felt dry, and it looked dry. Especially my ends. There was a lot of breakage and split ends, and sometimes, truthfully, it just looked like it lacked life. My natural curls were not as curly, and they did not look healthy. I found this product through Tiktock, and I wish I remembered the creator! But she went on and on about how this was great for her hair, so I went to the Sephora website, read up on it, and decided to give it a try. What could it hurt, right?
The product is Kerastase Soin Acide Chroma Gloss Hair Gloss. It retails for $55 USD, and while yes, that is steep, it actually lasts me about 6 months. I do not use this every time I shampoo or condition my hair; maybe once a month tops. So in my opinion, it’s worth the splurge, especially because it really does make a difference.
This gloss strengthens your hair, seals the hair fiber to protect your color, manages frizz, and leaves a nice high-shine finish. It helps extend your hair color. It contains lactic acid, which exfoliates and seals the hair surface. Centella asiatica, which features soothing and recovery properties.
What have I noticed since trying this product? My hair feels healthy; it does not feel dry or brittle. It is not as frizzy, and the added shine makes my hair look healthy! I also noticed when using this product that when I brush out my hair after my shower, it is not as tangled, which helps with breakage!
The only con is the fragrance. It doesn’t smell horrible to me, but other people have used that term to describe it.🤣 But it does have a very strong scent. I only notice the scent in the shower. Once I hop out, and then brush out my hair, the scent is not too strong. I do use other products afterward, though, like a leave-in conditioner or oil. But truthfully, after I brush my hair out, I do not smell the fragrance anymore. So if a super strong fragrance is not your thing, you may not enjoy it, but if you can handle a smell, you and your hair will love this product.
