Question: How to Get a hairstyle with volume
Answer: Okay, so this is something that I struggled with! But I learned a few tips and tricks to help you all out!
Blow out: You want to start off at the root and blow the air towards the scalp, but against the direction the hair lays. This will help the root of the hair stand up straight rather than fall against the scalp. When I blow dry my hair towards the nape of my neck I always bend over and flip my hair so I can dry my hair upside down providing more volume as well.

Spray volumizing: After drying your hair you should flip your head upside down and apply a bit of hair spray for volume to the roots. Then hold that position for some 30 seconds and let the spray get fixed there. Afterwards you just need to put your head back up and style the hair with hands. I use this one here.
Spray texture: I have also noticed when I use a textured spray my hair has a lot of volume to it. I think it’s because it just empasizes my natural curls, and I also do apply a bit to the roots to add some texture there which results in volume. I use verb for this too. I use the Dry Spray and then I also use the Sea Spray. The only difference is the Sea Spray you use wet, and the Dry spray you use when your hair is wet. I often use the Dry Spray in between washes to keep the texture.
Tease: This option is not the best for your hair at all. It actually damages it, so I wouldn’t recommend it, but I had to put it on here because it really does help to give volume to your hair. Teasing your hair at the crown actually gives you the volume. Here is a quick breakdown on how to tease your hair: you want to section the hair near the crown. You will spray it with medium-hold hairspray, from root to tip. Using a fine-toothed comb, push the hair down to the scalp . This will give the roots more lift and add to your hair’s overall volume. Repeat to all the sections on the crown. When you are done flip the hair back into place, and gently smooth out the tease with a comb . Then do the same to the front of your hair, then the left and right side of your hair. Do each part in sections. Then to have it hold, apply more hairspray.
