I was gifted this gorgeous gloss by my friend Stacie, so first I want to give Stacie a shout-out! Thank you so much Stacie<3 for fueling my lippie addiction, introducing me to new products, making my birthday special and for being such an awesome friend, co-worker, and supporter.

But let’s get into this lippie. I was gifted this Dior Addict Lip Maximizer for my birthday. I got it in the shade Rosewood. You can find it here for $34 USD.

So you all know how much I love lippies, and I LOVE lip plumpers but I’m a big lip plumper critic. I am so harsh on them because I want them to work but I don’t want them to be painful!

First, I want to say I did not hear about this before Stacie gifted it to me! So she actually informed me about this! Here’s some information:

What it is: A signature lip gloss from the house of Dior, which provides lip care for absolute comfort, shine, and a volume-maximizing effect.

What Else You Need to Know: This formula contains spheres of hyaluronic acid for powerful hydration and a volume-maximizing effect. The eight new Lip Maximizer shades pair beautifully with the Dior Addict Lip Glow shades (sold separately) to create a high-shine duo with volume to the max.

Clinical Results: In an instrumental test carried out on 10 subjects:
– Subjects reported up to 24 hours of hydration
– +29% volume was reported immediately after use

In an instrumental test carried out on 20 subjects, after 4 weeks:
– +86% smoother-looking lips was reported

So when I first applied it my lips instantly looked super glossy which I loved. I loved the color on me, it is such an everyday color for me. Second, it actually lasted pretty long on me too! A long-lasting gloss? Sign me up!

The gloss wasn’t sicky either! It just felt so natural on my lips. You know how sometimes you feel a gloss on you? And when it’s windy outside your hair gets all stuck in it? Not this one!

It felt so hydrating on my lips! I felt like I just put a lip mask on, that’s how nice it felt! My lips also just looked so juicy and nice looking!

I did feel a nice tingling effect, but it didn’t hurt at all! It was such a nice cooling type of tingle. To be honest the sensation reminded me of a tanning lotion I used to use that has a cooling sensation! I felt it more than I feel the buxom, but less than the too faced plumping gloss. So it was a comfortable tingling/cooling sensation.

Now let’s talk about other details you all are probably looking at. The packaging! WELL, no, that is no how Dior packages their lipglosses, although, how cool would that be?! Stacie had it personalized for me and I am literally so obsessed! I never had any makeup say “Melissa” on it! and the diamonds!? HOW CUTE ARE THEY?! I know I am going to be going through this lippie fast because I am a huge fan, but I am 100% ALWAYS keeping the packaging because it is just so darn cute! I’ll put it in the background for videos, or figure out a way to use it another way! LOL If there is a will, there is a way! Trust me.

So, let me tell you guys, I recommend this 100%. My lips look and feel better, I love the color and the feeling. Seriously I want more colors. I never had a Dior lippie and now I am hooked!
