Another Fashion Friday for you guys, but a fun twist to this one? I’m sharing my birthday looks with you guys! The weekend before my birthday I went to the city with Ivan and some friends, and then for my actual birthday, I worked. But it’s alright, my coworkers made it amazing. So for NY, it was cold! I knew from the start that I wanted to wear a dress, I mean it was my birthday outing all along, and I wanted to look nice. I went ahead and ordered a dress from Fashionnova. Check out their site here.

I wish I took a picture of myself head-on with this dress because this photo does not do it justice. But you can find this dress here. The dress itself was super warm! I was fine in like 30-degree weather! The color is just stunning, it is such a nice deep burgundy color, it really is my perfect winter dress. A warning when buying from this brand, unless you want your dress super tight, order a size bigger so you can be comfortable!

I was able to position the top part of the dress so my boobs weren’t completely out either! I did pair this look with stockings because it was so cold!

As far as shoes I knew I wanted to do over the knee boots. Truthfully because I knew it would look cute with the dress, but more importantly is so I could wear long wool socks and be warm! LOL I got the boots from Payless, they are from the designer Christian Siriano. I wish I could find them for you, but I linked a similar pair here, the heel is just a little lower.

The outfit I wore for my actual birthday is my favorite. My workplace dress code is pretty casual, so I got away with wearing this. The top is long but I just tucked it in. You have seen it in my first Fashion Friday post here. But you can get this top here. I just love the little criss-cross detailing in the front.

I can’t seem to find the pink version of the skirt, but I did find the black version. You can check it out here. This skirt is so comfortable! The zipper does go down, and the skirt even has pockets. I did go up a size in this skirt only because I do have a bigger tush, so it is a little bigger on the waist, but it fits so nice.

The boots have a little kitten heel, and they are so comfortable. I wish I could find the exact pair online, but I got them years ago as a gift. But I did link a similar pair here.

Truthfully these looks are my favorite birthday outfits I have worn in a long time! I love going out and celebrating birthdays because that means 2 outfits! It’a just so fun!
