I was gifted this Power C Brightening Serum from Sheroscience about 3 weeks ago and I have been using it daily ever since. I wanted to give you all a review on this serum.

You can buy it here for $25 USD. It is supposed to help smooth lines and brighten your skin. Reduce dark spots and hyperpigmentation. It also is supposed to help replenishes skin to restore your glow.

It is described as, “You want skin that glows, here’s your answer. This powerful vitamin C serum has 3 active ingredients that are the reigning forces in smoothing and brightening your skin: L-Ascorbic (Vitamin C), Vitamin E and Ferulic Acid. Together, these ingredients reduce those annoying signs of aging, smooth lines, fade dark spots, brighten dull-looking skin and protect you from daily pollution. After 2 weeks of daily use, you will start to see results: plumper, balanced, glowing skin.”

Here are some of its key ingredients and what they do:
15% L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) is a powerful antioxidant that brightens skin and evens skin tone
1% Tocopheryl (Vitamin E) replenishes your skin of Vitamin E lost over time, helping to prevent signs of aging
0.5% Ferulic Acid, a plant-based ingredient, enhances the stability of all other ingredients in your product

Their claims:
After 2 weeks, you’ll see brighter, healthier skin.
After 2 months, you’ll see fewer lines, smoother skin, and less hyperpigmentation.

What I noticed:

First I love the dropper on this! It makes me feel like an Instagram star! LOL It makes me feel so cool like the little dripping effect! It’s just really fun to put on! I put a drop of my chin, forehead, and each cheek every morning.

So there really is no scent to this either. It also really absorbs into the skin too, like super fast. It doesn’t make my skin feel heavy after I apply it on. It just gives my skin a nice glow and absorbs really fast. It just feels super lightweight on the skin. While it gives me a nice glow it doesn’t leave me greasy or oily at all either. Especially during the day. My skin just looks like normal! I love using this on no makeup days because my skin just looks so healthy.

A little goes a long way, so I feel like this will last a long time! I just use one drop on each section of my face and it spreads out pretty well!

I reached out and asked when this should be put on exactly. I use acne medication and they said this should be applied before the acne medication, I also noticed it didn’t affect the acne medication either. So that’s a huge win-win!

So throughout the 3 weeks, I noticed my skin just looks really healthy and glowy. The only difference I notice regarding fine lines, is the lines near my eyes look a little less deep, and it just makes my skin look less dry too. My skin just has such a nice look to it, I’ve even been getting compliments on my complexion! I feel like even my acne marks aren’t as red as usual either! That makes me so happy!
