Hey ATFB Fam, as you all know I am a huge lippie lover. I have way too many lipsticks to count. I think I can wear one every day for 3 months straight! LOL Let me know if you want a tour video down below!

But anyway, today I will be reviewing the Mark Your Liquid Lips Matte by Natasha Denona. I got this in a recent Sephora Haul after seeing one of my favorite YouTubers Christen Dominique have it on. It just looked so pretty on her I needed it! Plus I never owned or used a Natasha Denona lippie before so thought it would make a great review!

First, the shade I got is Giselle. You can get it here for $25 USD. It is known for its pure color payoff, nondrying formula, and lightweight feel.

It is described as, “Natasha Denona’s innovative new lipstick is smudge-proof, transfer-resistant, and long-lasting while also delivering an edgy, high-fashion, matte look. It’s packed with pigments that stay vibrant throughout the day without fading and gives immediate full coverage that feels silky smooth. Light ester oils provide hydration for comfortable wear, and aloe vera extract leaves the skin soft and conditioned.”

So when I first put it on, it was super pigmented. I didn’t even have to dip into the tube once! The applicator made it super easy for me to line and put it all over my lips evenly.

The texture of the lippie itself reminded me of the Maybelline Superstay Ink lippies because it has that sticky feeling, but I don’t mind that.

The color is just so pretty, it is on the lighter side for me compared to how it looked on Christen Dominque, but I feel like it still looked good.

So after I let it dry for a bit, I noticed it felt super lightweight on the skin, but to be honest that’s the only positive thing I can tell you guys!

It was just so drying for me. I haven’t had a lipstick like that in such a long time. You guys know I sleep with my Linage lip sleeping mask on every single night, so feeling this way was a huge shocker for me!

I mean it did last pretty long, I put it on around 7:45 a.m. and by 5 p.m. that is when I noticed it started fading. It also started to look cracked, and just overall super dry and flakey.

Next time I want to see if I were to put chapstick underneath if that would help the drying.

Overall I wish this lippie were a little bit less dry. I feel like if it were I would wear it 24/7, but because of the dryness, I’m going to have to figure out a way so it doesn’t dry my lips out. Any tips anyone? Let me know in the comments down below.
