I received the Lorac Royal Treatment Mascara in my December BoxyLux. It retails for  $24.00

It is described as, “Treat your lashes like royalty with LORAC’s Royal Treatment Primer & Mascara Duo. One end features a blue tinted primer, making for the perfect base to achieve the darkest lashes while nourishing and lengthening at the same time. The other end features a slim wand that will hug your lashed from root to tip, thickening and volumizing without being clumpy or flaky. Boxy Tip: Let the primer dry a bit before applying mascara to prevent clumping. If you are feeling bold, wear the primer alone, the blue tint is bound to make a statement!”

I have never used a mascara that used a blue primer first! Usually, my primers are white. I don’t think I could wear this primer by itself like Boxy recommended because it wasn’t that vibrant. You could only tell the blue color when you looked up close.

So I waited for the primer to dry, and when I did I went in with the mascara. I really liked the wand itself because it was small, and angled. But applying it was a weird feeling. It felt like the mascara itself was dry. Like I needed more product on the wand itself.

But boy did it make a difference in my lashes! My lashes instantly looked so much longer! They looked super black too! My lashes seemed to be a lot thicker and fuller too! My lashes also seemed to be curled a little bit. It has everything I look for in a mascara.

Seriously, this is such a good mascara! I really do recommend it to everyone! It doesn’t flake and is super easy to take off.
