I received the AHAVA – Mineral Hand Cream in my October Boxy Charm. Boxy Charm told me it retailed for $10 USD, but I could only find it for $24 USD on the actual website and Ulta.com. Check it out here.

This hand cream is supposed to, “instantly soothes chapped, dry skin and restores moisture to optimal levels for soft, smooth hands you can see.”

It features:

• “Aloe Vera extract soothes and provide natural moisture
• Witch Hazel extracts smoothes skin, providing refreshing, revitalizing effect
• Allantoin heals dry cracked skin and blemishes”

They claim that this hand cream is a non-greasy lotion which absorbs quickly without feeling greasy or sticky.

When I first applied this lotion I was overwhelmed by the scent. It smelled very perfume-y, like a floral scent. I usually don’t mind strong scents but this was just very overpowering. Even after a few minutes of wear it smelled JUST as strong.

I wasn’t expecting that much of a floral scent!

It did not feel greasy at all on me, nor did it feel sticky, but it did leave my hands looking shiny. I am so picky when it comes to hand lotion because I hate the thick, greasy or sticky feelings some lotions give off.

Overall my hands did seem not as dry after a few applications. I just cannot use it at night, they said it is a night time cream but I believe that it would be too strong smelling for night time. I cannot sleep with that strong of a scent, my allergies would flair up! LOL

Instead its perfect for my office drawer, or purse when I need a nice pick me up smell during the day.

Overall I give this product a thumbs up, I hope it helps me during the cold winter months that are coming!
