I received the Bang Beauty – Chocolate Eyeliner in my August Boxy Charm. It retails for $22.00 USD. You can purchase it here. You can use this as an eye-liner, or even for your brows. Boxy charm describes it as super creamy with a chocolate tone.

I was so excited to try this out because I always opt for black eyeliner. I tried this a few days after receiving my box, and I was just so disappointed. It looked like it would be really creamy but turns out it just looked that way.

This is probably one of the worst gel eye-liners I have ever tried, and I have tried a lot! It’s a chocolate color, but it’s not very pigmented. It also clumps like crazy. You can’t draw a straight line or even do a cat eye with it. I tried multiple brushes to try and line my top eyelid, and it did not work. Once I got a (kinda sorta) line. I realized you could barely even see it and it didn’t even last all day. It barely lasted until noon.

I tried it on my lower lash line and that didn’t work either. The color came off pretty fast there too!

I was reading reviews and some people use it for their brows. I don’t even want to attempt it because it clumps and fades fast.

I’m going to see if a friend wants to try to play with it, if not it’s going into the trash.
