I have found my favorite mask so far. Seriously, the Alba Botanica- Hawaiian Detox Sheet Mask is the best. I picked it up at my local Harmon for under two dollars.

The packaging says, “To micro-extract the stubborn, everyday pollutants that gunk up your pores, lay this miracle mask over your face and feel the powerful extraction action of real volcanic clay draw out toxins. Tropical fruit acids seal the deal by dissolving dulling debris so skin emerges fresh, bright and completely renewed. Each individually-wrapped, serum-soaked mask contours to your face. Fear not: sometimes it tingles while it works. That’s a good thing.”

Directions: clean and dry face, carefully unfold mask and apply to face adjusting around eyes nose and mouth and soothing over curves. Leave on for 5 minutes. Remove and discard mask. Gently massage remaining serum into skin. no rinsing required.

The packaging was so cute, that’s what caught my eye in the first place. But after reading how it helps get rid of all the gunk in your pores, I needed to try it, and I am so happy I did!

First I took off my makeup then applied the mask. This sheet mask is black. Then I put the mask on and just relaxed for 5 minutes. The scent wasn’t strong at all it was pretty soothing.  I did feel a tingling sensation on my nose and cheeks, where I have the most issues with my pores, but it wasn’t too harsh.  I love tingling sensations for face masks or lip glosses.

Once I took it off I noticed a huge difference. My skin was so soft, my pores looked smaller, and I saw some of the gunk in the sheet mask! A few hours later my face still looked great. My skin wasn’t oily at all, which is so unusual for me. My pores still looked amazing.  I want to go back and purchase more of these masks, they are that good!

If you have senstive skin I would be careful with the tingling sensation. Please double check the ingredients.
