The Creme Shop: Red Clay Sheet Mask

I love face masks, whether they’re sheet masks, clay, charcoal or peel-offs. What I really want to try are the Magnetic face mask and the Australian Pink Clay Porefining Face Mask, but those for another day.

IMG_9757Last night, I tried  The Creme Shop: Red Clay Sheet Mask that I picked up on a whim from Harmon. Harmon had a good display of the face masks that caught my eye, plus they had a good deal with them. It was a win-win shopping trip.

This mask is made in Korea and helps unclog pores, controls oil, reduces breakouts and tightens your skin. I thought this mask would be perfect for me because my skin is super oily and I’ve been breaking out recently.IMG_9765

How to use:
– Gently cleanse your face and pat dry. Follow with toner if desired.
– Tear open mask pouch and unfold mask. Place the mask on face, aligning holes with eyes, nose and mouth. Apply any excess essence on neck or body.
– Relax with mask on for 20 minutes or longer.
– Carefully peel off mask and discard. Allow essences on the surface of your skin to absorb. No need to re-cleanse

I left this mask on for 30 minutes. The mask felt very cool and I felt the essence going into my pores. I felt super calm and relaxed with it on.

When I took it off I didn’t notice a huge difference in my pores. They may be a little better but nothing too noticeable. Last night, my mom mentioned that I wasn’t as oily which I was surprised about because usually, I’m oily within 3 hours of not wearing makeup. I did notice today that my face didn’t feel as oily as usual and the redness of my breakouts did go down a bit.

Would I buy this mask again? Yes, but only if Harmon has a good deal on them. I did notice a little difference but nothing too helpful to have me reaching for this product over and over.

What’s your favorite type of mask? Let me know in the comments!

Melissa
